The Stanford Review is celebrating 20 years of being the alternative voice of students at Stanford University. Since 1987, The Review has kept Stanford's liberal academia in-check. Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect, meet the current staff, and hear from world leaders in conservative thought!
The 20th Anniversary Reunion and Conference will take place over two days during the last weekend of January. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend a luncheon on Saturday, January 27, 2006 (due to the recent passing of Milton Friedman, who was originally scheduled to serve as the honorary chair of the lunch, we are currently revising the program). Sunday morning, best-selling author Dinesh D'Souza will be the keynote speaker over breakfast. Guests will also be invited to a special gathering at the San Francisco home of Review co-founder Peter Thiel Saturday night. Other speakers include Stanford Professor of Economics John B. Taylor, who will speak on U.S. and global economic policy from 1987-2007.

Keynote Speaker : Dinesh D'Souza

Dinesh D'Souza is one of the most prominent figures in modern conservatism. After serving as an editor of The Dartmouth Review and as a senior analyst in President Reagan's staff, D'Souza has gone on to write several best-selling books. He is currently a fellow at the Hoover Institution and continues to frequently speak on college campuses and at other venues. D'Souza has studied and wrote on a variety of issues, especially affirmative action, American virtues, and morality. |
