Europe Conquered

“The gods by whom this kingdom stood are gone. Gone from the shrines and altars. You defend a city lost in flames. Come, let us die…the conquered have one safety: hope for none.” Although this verse was written by Virgil about the fall of Troy, it is strikingly applicable today to the fall of another civilization--Europe. With the lack of any resistance against rampant terrorism or anti-Semitism and with the spread of the Muslim people and culture, Europe has become a conquered country in the Muslim jihad with little hope left for a resurrection of the European identity.
The decline of Europe began in 1962 when Algeria gained independence from France. After this event, Charles de Gaulle set out to unite the European and Arab countries of the Mediterranean into one interdependent bloc set up to oppose the super-power that was the United States. De Gaulle believed that France had an obligation to ally with the Arab and African Muslim world because they had been colonies of France, and thus were economic and political elements under French influence. France also became a staunch supporter of the anti-Israel movement, and supported the Arab leaders in the Egyptian-Syrian war against Israel in 1973 because of its fear of an oil embargo. Greater Europe showed itself to be sympathetic to the Palestinians in a resolution from the European Economic Community (EEC) in 1973, stating that Israel must withdraw to the armistice line of 1949, and that the rights of the Palestinians must be accepted. It was this Euro-Arab alliance which legitimized Arab terrorism against Israel, unleashing worldwide terrorism in the name of jihad.
Europe has turned a blind eye to the terror strategies that Muslims employ to control European politics in their favor. Schools and synagogues have been torched in France by Muslims. In response to 9/11, France, instead of censuring the terrorism against America, blamed American “arrogance.” In the Netherlands, the murder of film director Theo van Gogh was another saddening example of Europe’s transformation into Eurabia. Van Gogh, a man who publicly voiced his belief that Islam was a threat to Western society, was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri, who was part of the terrorist Hofstad Network. A note was found pinned to Van Gogh’s body threatening Western governments and Jews. In the aftermath, one member of the Dutch parliament, Geert Wilders, proposed a five-year halt to non-Western immigration, saying, “The Netherlands has been too tolerant to intolerant people for too long. We should not import a retarded political Islamic society to our country.” In spite of the initial outrage, the Dutch people again lapsed into implicit tolerance for the cancer in their midst that terrorized their native people.
Similar situations have occurred elsewhere, such as the response to cartoons about Muhammad printed in the Danish paper Jyllands-Posten. Violent protests by Muslims over the content of the cartoons left 130 dead and resulted in massive property damage, but also showed some of the discontent with multiculturalism in Denmark. In modern Europe, it seems, it is acceptable to lampoon Judeo-Christian religion and culture, but when free speech is exercised to critically examine Islam, Europeans are vilified, reprimanded, and killed.
In the quest for political correctness, free speech, religious and moral convictions, and cultural symbols have been thrown out the window. Europeans live in fear of offending Muslims. French public swimming pools have been segregated by sex at the behest of Muslims, the British Red Cross was unable to put nativity scenes and Christmas trees in its stores, and perhaps worst of all, in the Netherlands, school children were forbidden from wearing Dutch flags on their backpacks because immigrants would think they were “provocative.” From every angle, Muslims have wrapped Europeans around their little fingers, as even the European media is forced to censor itself for fear of offending them, and remains silent as native Europeans are threatened and killed.
If Europeans do feel any sentiment of unfairness, they are hindered from voicing their dissatisfaction by the threat of being labeled a racist or legally punished. Instead, they pay higher taxes to provide the intruders with generous welfare benefits and housing. At the root of the current Euro-paralysis is the concept of multiculturalism, under which all cultures are deemed equal and none is preferable to another. When an outraged European objects to paying higher taxes to subsidize the immigration of people different than his native countrymen, he is accused of racism--implying that he values his culture more than that of the immigrants--which contradicts the new quasi-religion of multiculturalism. A case in point is the example of a French parliamentarian who was fined for saying that heterosexuality is morally superior to homosexuality. Since the heretics of the new religion of multiculturalism cannot be tolerated, such a person’s career and often life are ruined, giving other people a powerful incentive to silence themselves. “Apres moi le deluge!” has become the new European principle of survival.
Why have Europeans lost all capacity for self-love? Writer Marcello Pera writes that “to accept and defend their culture would be an act of hegemony, of intolerance, [betraying] an anti-democratic, anti-liberal, disrespectful attitude.” European identity is being slowly lost – sacrificed at the pedestal of multiculturalism. A shocking example of this was seen in a recent French film shown at Stanford, l’Esquive, in which the Caucasian protagonist is shown surrounded by Arabs, and responding to something somebody says to her with the words “Inch allah.” Praise be to Allah – God of Islam.
In addition to the downfall of identity, the European population is also dwindling. Not even one EU member state has a fertility rate that will replace the death rate (approximately 2.1 children per woman are necessary to keep the population stable). In fact, eleven EU countries, including Germany, Austria, Hungary and Italy have a negative population growth rate. Instead of Europeans, the population is being replaced by Muslims, whose birth rates are much higher than those of Europeans. French cities such as Lyon and Marseilles have become mostly Muslim Arab cities. European identity is being usurped, and Europe is in a death spiral, demographically and culturally.
Writers such as Oriana Fallaci have written pleas to Europeans to recognize their plight. Where is their self-preservation instinct? Where is their reason? Although some countries like France have begun trying to reform their immigration laws in an attempt to stem the flood of Muslims, Europe as we knew it is no longer. As Fallaci puts it, the walls of Troy have been breached; a great and wonderful kingdom has fallen. What is left is only a country in its death throes, the awful spectacle of a Europe bound, subjugated, and conquered by the Muslims.
