| 50/50: It’s Easy to Calculate - a discussion about work and marriage | Tues, May 9, 4pm-5:30pm at Building 160 | Sharon Meers, a former managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and husband Steve Dostart, a Palo Alto real estate developer, discuss the importance of balancing a career and a life partner. Meers recently completed a book on women and work. |
| Stanford Spring Faire | Fri, May 12, 10am-6pm at White Plaza | Over 100 artists will exhibit and sell artwork. Food and entertainment is also available for visitors. The faire will last through Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. |

“The largest student-run powwow in the US” returns this year with performances of traditional Native American dancing and an art market. The event extends through Saturday and Sunday also. |
