Arnold is holding a special election to reform California. On the ballot are initiatives to break the socialist stranglehold on our failing schools, to redraw the gerrymandered districts in California and to stop public unions from using mandatory dues for political propaganda. The fundamental question is this: do we want apathetic teachers to continue to raise our children, politicians to continue to decide the value of our vote and union special interests to continue to influence Sacramento or do we want change? |

UC Berkeley is one of several elite institutions (Stanford included) which, by the race-box standards of the left, is composed entirely of racial minorities. That is, no particular race group is in the majority. The incoming class at Berkeley this year is 47% Asian. According to the AP, of this “accomplishment,” Chancellor Birgeneau stated “we all should be extraordinarily proud of” that achievement, but the success needs to spread to other groups. What Birgeneau didn’t mention was that the largest historical impedement to this “achievement” was the UC system’s systematic descrimination against Asian applicants. |

Che Guevara is alive and well on the Stanford Campus in the form of student t-shirts and posters. Some of Guevara’s personal writings during his last days in Bolivia were recently discovered by a team of renowned historians. Among the writings is Guevara’s final treatise in which he states “my dying wish as a socialist revolutionary is for my picture to be plastered on t-shirts of rich snobs living in the most successful capitalist country in the history of the world.” |
