They marched through White Plaza at exactly 7:30, clapping their hands and stomping their feet. Loud, angry, but optimistic. Sixty Stanford students rolling through White Plaza on a Wednesday night. They seemed focused and empowered.

Last week, two Stanford Univer-sity student organizations: the Muslim Student Awareness Network and the Coalition for Justice in the Middle East, hosted an event entitled "Witnessing History Repeated," which they advertised as a crude comparison between Jews in Israel and Nazis in Europe.

CSPAN Book Review with Aman Verjee On the High Road (or "Conservatives can Drink and Write Articles too!")

On Monday, October 25th The Stanford Review had the privilege of sponsoring an event with Aman Verjee, Alec Rawls and Eric Jackson, all contributors to the book Thank You, President Bush; an anthology about President Bush published by World Ahead Publishing. CSPAN covered the event for its book television program and aired it on Monday November 1st.

He’s wearing tweed, right? The pipe hanging out the right corner of the mouth, tobacco climbing toward the ceiling fan, right? White moustache dancing over his lip as he spouts whatever happens to be flowing from right ear to left at any given moment. You can question him, challenge him, jump onto his desk and start pounding your fists on the walls, and he’ll smile, take a deep draw on that pipe of his and dismiss you.
