Editorial: No Safety without Awareness
With the War on Terrorism raging, those in charge of Stanford University and our nation's other educational institutions must work to safeguard our nation's future leaders by meticulously planning and testing emergency-preparedness measures. However, these plans cannot be of any use to Stanford students if the University fails to announce them. The University should disseminate the basic details of emergency-response plans, encourage students to become familiar with those details, and take an active role in making sure that we know how to take care of ourselves. ....Full story in Opinion
